Russell Aldo Murray ((July 31, 1950 – September 3, 2009)
Russell Aldo Murray, passed away in his sleep at the age of 59 on September 3, 2009. Many young and talented artists from Newark, NJ pay homage to the legacy of this amazing teacher, artist, human being, every year during Black History Month at the annual Art in the Atrium exhibition in Morristown, NJ, living by his famous words: “Paint every day no matter what, or perish!”
