Bisa Washington's Three Days in May
Arlington Street Arts, in collaboration with Celeste Bateman & Associates, hosted a successful three-day art event -- THREE DAYS IN MAY (2007). Events included a book signing of Bisa's handmade art book, Promise Not to Tell on Saturday, May 5 at the home of collector A. Kamili Mtume, an art opening on Sunday, May 6 of her New Works on Paper exhibition and a new initiative, "Luncheon with the Arts" on Monday, May 7. Arlington Street Arts is a Newark-based, grassroots gallery and studio space founded by Bisa Washington to showcase her works and the works of local artists.
